Curry, Kuminga Score 55 in Warriors Win Over Magic

Tuesday marked the beginning of the New Year with a victory for the Warriors over the Orlando Magic at Chase Center. The Warriors won the game 121-115.

 In the victory, the combined total of points scored by Stephen Curry (36) and Jonathan Kuminga (19) was 55. At the defensive end of the court, Curry was also a big player, as he recorded four thefts and one block.

The Warriors had a field goal percentage of 53.8 percent against the Orlando Magic, a team that was ranked among the top three in defensive rating prior to Tuesday's game. 

For the first time in this season, all five of their starters were among the seven players that led the team in scoring with double figures.

RUN IN THE FIRST QUARTER, 16-4 After falling behind 11-2 at the beginning of the game, the Warriors went on a run of 16-4 to grab a three-point lead (18-15) and win the game. 

 At the end of the first quarter, the Los Angeles Lakers had a two-point lead (30-28) thanks to a step-back three-pointer made by Chris Paul with 1.1 seconds remaining.
